At 10:12 a.m., normal service has resumed on the Red Line after the removal of an outbound six-car train on the Red Line at Metro Center. The disabled train lost one of its collector shoes.
Metro is seriously getting its ass kicked.

Not long after beginning my trip to Louisiana, I was once again reminded of something that I often wonder about when traveling out of DC.
Why aren’t the Metro turnstiles at National Airport just a little bit wider than at every other station?
Just sayin’…
